Over 330 people interested in exploring fresh career opportunities or developing new skills attended Sefton@Work’s latest Be Inspired event.

48 local employers and training providers were at the free event, held at Firwood Bootle Cricket Club, to discuss opportunities across the Borough.

Councillor Paulette Lappin, Sefton Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Economy and Skills, said: “The latest Be Inspired event had an even higher attendance than the previous. It is clear these community events ran by Sefton@Work are giving local people and businesses fantastic opportunities and support in the world of work.

“And of course, the friendly Sefton@Work team are always on hand in their Bootle and Southport offices for people to learn more about how they can support you, whether that’s with job searching, training, education, recruitment, or self-employment.”
